“Way I” was a part of a two channel video intervention (Colour and B+W with stereo sound) into a space for resting in. The whole intervention is in the form a diptych that is tethered to its temporary resting space. It relates to walks from a fixed point both eastwards and westwards along two paths of the Icknield Way ( A prehistoric communication route in southern and eastern England) for approximately 15km in each direction (set by river crossings). One route was walked and filmed in the summer (Way I) and follows a dry route the other in the early spring and follows the spring line or wet route. These location/research images relate only to Way I, the dry summer route. Way I/II have a related bookwork.
